Downtown towers and waterfront apartments
Much of downtown New Rochelle is near the Metro-North New Haven Line station, and many of its apartment buildings are newer, managed properties. These usually have freight elevators and scheduled move-in windows, and most want a certificate of insurance before you move. Ask your leasing office for the rules and share them with us when you book; we'll confirm the elevator slot and loading spot so the truck isn't circling.
Houses, hills and water
Beyond downtown you'll find single-family neighborhoods like Wykagyl and homes along the Sound and on Davenport Neck. Streets can be narrow, and many houses have steep driveways or basements. Mention them when you book so the crew arrives with the right plan.
Getting there
I-95 runs right through New Rochelle, making it easy for us to get here from the Bronx. The Hutchinson River Parkway runs close by but is closed to commercial trucks, so our trucks stay on I-95 and local streets like Main Street and North Avenue. Metro-North and weekday rush hour can slow the roads around the station, so we like to schedule for mid-morning when we can.
Student and small moves
Dorm moves have their own rhythm: tight windows, shared elevators and lots of small items. We handle move-ins, move-outs and summer storage runs, and we haul away what students can't take home. Parents can call us directly and we'll coordinate the details.
